THE POWER OF RENEWABLE ENERGY
IN YOUR HANDS HANDS
As Midwest preferred solar installers, ARC helps homeowners and businesses save on energy bills, reduce their carbon footprint, and take control of their power. Solar energy cuts monthly utility costs and promotes sustainability. By choosing ARC, you make a smart investment in your energy future, ensuring long-term savings and a healthier planet. We provide a seamless process from consultation to installation, ensuring every step is handled with care.
Let’s face it—solar has a bad reputation. Pushy sales tactics, poor workmanship, and broken promises have left people skeptical.
At ARC, we’re here to change that. By managing every step of the process in-house, we ensure exceptional quality and accountability you can trust. Our carefully crafted approach takes the stress out of going solar, giving you the confidence and peace of mind to enjoy the benefits of renewable energy - whether for your home or business.
We've installed thousands of solar projects in the last few years, see what some of our customers are saying.
It's important first to understand how energy pricing works for anyone who uses utilities
Energy companies charge you based on how many kilowatt-hours (kWh) you use. A kWh measures the amount of electricity you consume, and you're charged for each unit.
For example:
Running a 1,000-watt appliance for 1 hour uses 1 kWh
Note: The price of electricity fluctuates based on demand, fuel costs, and other factors. Over time, electricity prices tend to rise, which means higher bills for you. Reduce bills by producing your own!
Solar panels absorb sunlight and convert it into electricity using special materials like silicon. This electricity the panels produce is called DC (direct current) power.
Once sunlight hits the panels, the energy is captured and transformed into DC power, which flows in a steady, one-way stream from the panels toward your home. This direct flow of energy needs to be converted into usable power for your home, which happens through an inverter.
In order to utilize this energy we must convert it into Alternating Current or AC Power
Your solar panels have captured energy in the form of DC power. The next step is to convert it into Alternating Current (AC), the type of electricity our homes use — with the help of an inverter.
There are different types of inverters, like string inverters, microinverters, and power optimizers, but they all perform the same basic function—turning DC power into AC power so your home can use the electricity from your solar panels.
With solar, you don't just produce electricity for your home - you can also save through a process called net metering.
When you produce more electricity than your home needs, that extra energy is sent back to the grid.
In return, your utility company gives you credits for each kWh of energy you send back.
During times when your solar panels aren't producing as much energy (like at night or when it's cloudy). You'll pull electricity from the grid and the credits can be used to reduce costs
Note: Not all states have net metering policies. The availability of net metering depends on your state and utility provider. Be sure to check your local regulations to see if you can take advantage of this benefit.
Over the next 25 years, you could spend $50,000 or more on electricity bills —money you’ll never see again. Or, you could invest in solar, locking in lower energy costs, increasing your home’s value, and protecting yourself from rising rates. Don’t let energy bills drain your finances. The cost of doing nothing is always increasing.
In sum, ARC will handle everything from sales to installation as your trusted EPC company. Our experienced team guides you through each step, designing custom solar systems that meet your unique energy needs. Despite install crews being in-house we also use 25-year warrantied solar panels to maximize efficiency and boost your savings.
Indeed switching to solar with ARC gives you control over your energy usage and reduces reliance on traditional power sources. For example systems provide reliable energy even during peak usage times, saving you money while keeping the power on. We are also always up-to-date on the latest solar technology and incentives to ensure you always get the most out of your solar investment. So, with state programs like Illinois Solar for All, now is the perfect time to make the switch.
Specifically the Illinois Solar for All program allows income-eligible residents to access affordable solar energy with little to no upfront costs. As the Midwest preferred solar installers, ARC helps you maximize savings while enjoying clean, renewable energy.

After installation, we coordinate necessary inspections and activate your system so you can start generating clean energy immediately.
Our goal is to complete the entire process—from initial consultation to system activation—within 90 days.
As of 2025 - The federal solar tax credit allows homeowners to deduct up to 30% of their solar project costs.
Illinois offers the Illinois Solar Renewable Energy Credit (SREC) program, which allows homeowners to sell renewable energy their system produces as credits. There are also state programs like Illinois Solar for All.
Missouri has state incentives with a property tax exemption. Several power companies in the state offer rebates through net metering which lets you sell power back to the utility company.
The average cost of a 8kW system before incentives will typically cost around 15k-21k. Luckily, a lot of state and federal incentives will save you on solar systems in Missouri and Illinois.
Here’s a look at an 8kW solar system with ARC with some of the area’s most competitive prices, typically below average solar market rates.
